This is the most comprehensive type of marine inspection and is strongly advised when purchasing a new or used vessel. Condition and overall operation of the vessel should be examined in depth. This includes such items as structural integrity, out of water bottom inspection, limited trial run, electrical system, propulsion systems, fuel systems, machinery, navigational, miscellaneous on board systems, cosmetic appearance, electronics, safety, and overall maintenance. This type of marine inspection is performed so that insurance companies can determine whether or not a vessel is an acceptable risk. The surveyor is interested in structural integrity and the safety of the vessel for its intended use. Most insurance companies require a survey of older or used boats. They also will want to know a boats' fair market value. The cost is $21ft for any vessel of any age.
This marine inspection is performed in order to gather enough information to justify and/or determine the fair market value of a vessel. This may be needed for purposes of financing, estate settlements, donation, and factor in legal cases such as divorce. This is the least in depth inspection of a vessel. The cost is $150hr

We will not do engine diagnostics, repairs, or any maintenance. It would be unethical for use to perform any repairs or work on any boat that we survey for a minimum of one year after the survey.
